A bit about this site...I've set it up just as a landing page. I don't have any real intention for it at the moment (other than a web CV, I guess), so don't expect anything exciting! If you do want to contact me, please do so via LinkedIn.
As an experienced leader in the Geospatial technology industry, I have successfully led large teams and managed globally significant projects. In my most recent position, I served as the Industry Offering Head for Cyient's Hi-Tech Business Unit, reporting to the CTO. In that role, I was responsible for defining and launching innovative solution offerings by leveraging our existing technology capabilities and introducing new ones. The Hi-Tech Business Unit's engagements span across the Big-Tech (e.g., Microsoft), Space (e.g., Inmarsat, Iceye), and Geospatial (e.g., Ordnance Survey, TomTom) segments.
Having spent 16 years in various management roles at Cyient, I chose to volunteer for redundancy in early 2023 following a re-structure and re-focus within the company. After taking a short break to spend time with my family and work on improving my garden, I am now immediately available for a new opportunity.

Head of Location Based Solutions / Geospatial Strategy Lead (2020-present)
As a member of the Hi-Tech Business Unit at Cyient, I have been instrumental in building sustainable revenue pipelines through the development and implementation of geospatial offerings. Working with a global team, I have taken our new offerings directly to market in Europe, North America, and APAC, and have recently secured a £12m digital transformation contract in the UK with HMLR. In this role, I was responsible for designing the offering and leading the delivery team as Mobilisation Programme Manager.
In addition to my hands-on work in the field, I also play a key role in shaping the global strategy for Cyient's geospatial division. I work closely with the company's senior leadership to restructure our geospatial team into a horizontal model that focuses on growth within existing business units, with a particular emphasis on the mining, utilities, communications, and hi-tech sectors. This strategy includes a strong focus on new and disruptive technologies such as AI, earth observation, lidar, and hyper-automation.
Since 2018 I have been Cyient’s co-ordinator and mentor for the Seraphim Space Camp (https://seraphim.vc/accelerator/) where I meet and mentor several start-ups throughout the year.
Example Contracts:
Local Land Charges Migration. His Majesty’s Land Registry (HMLR)
The program will digitize and migrate millions of separately held local land charge records from local authorities into a centralized digital register. This will enable HMLR to provide a single and simple-to-use digital service for homebuyers and conveyancers.
Geospatial Data Capture and Maintenance. Ordnance Survey Great Britain.
Capturing real-world change from aerial photography and site surveys for large parts of Great Britain for inclusion in Great Britain’s primary mapping products. The contract has been running since October 2011 following a successful implementation that I managed from the start.
Geospatial Data Maintenance. Rural Payments Agency (UK Government)
UK based contract employing up to 300 staff who are responsible for maintaining the Rural Land Register on behalf of the UK government. This involves the capture of land parcel changes/modifications via a web-based GIS. The contract also includes the provision of an automated crop classification layer using satellite imagery
Rail Asset Data Capture (3D). Blom UK (on behalf of Network Rail’s ORBIS programme)
An offshore programme to capture, in 3D, the topography of Great Britain’s rail network plus all assets within the network, including the rails, gantries, buildings and all supporting infrastructure such as bridges and embankments.
